Day Trip to Normandy

Posted in Travel at 1:35 am by rachel

Normandy BoatWe just returned to Paris from a fabulous daytrip to Normandy with friends. In our rented, rather large car (it was more or less a mini-van), we visited Touville, Deauville, Etretat, and Honfleur. I’m stuffed with all that butter-based food (delicious!) and so I’ll let the photos tell the story … with some help from my friend Cécilia, who wrote out our whole itineray at my birthday meal in Honfleur, recording the events of the day for posterity.

Happy Birthday! I think we might have visited the same place (the picture with the arch over the sea).

    Thanks, Megan!
Grace, I thought of you - we weren’t too far from Rennes… I *still* have not been to Brittany, but it’s on my list!

haha, the only thing I remember about Honfleur is a creepy old guy asking Evan for a cigarette and that I bought a postcard with a guy being hung. But lunch was great!
